Short version: this website sets no cookies at all — no analytics, no advertising, no fingerprinting. The embedded app uses only the strictly-necessary session cookies Shopify requires to keep you signed in. That is why you don't see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
This website (preferd.app)
The public pages of https://preferd.app (the landing page and these legal pages) set no cookies and load no third-party trackers. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising service on this site.
Web fonts are self-hosted on our own domain, so your visit is not disclosed to any font CDN (such as Google Fonts) — your IP address stays between your browser and our server.
The embedded app (inside your Shopify admin)
When you use Preferd inside your Shopify admin, Shopify's embedded-app framework sets strictly-necessary, first-party session cookies to authenticate you (OAuth session and CSRF protection). These are technical cookies required for the service you explicitly requested, so under the ePrivacy rules they are exempt from consent. We add no cookies of our own on top of them.
Your storefront (the AI-traffic pixel)
If you enable Preferd on your store, a Shopify Web Pixel measures visits that arrive from AI assistants. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data (no IP addresses, no customer identifiers), reports only aggregate daily totals, and respects the consent state of Shopify's Customer Privacy API — if a visitor hasn't consented to analytics where consent is required, the pixel stays silent.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking Shopify's session cookies will prevent the embedded app from loading inside the admin, because it can't authenticate you without them.
